3 Doctoral Positions in Development Economics

The positions are available from June 2010, and will be paid according to the TV-L 13 salary scale.

The doctoral students will be able to participate in the Ph.D. program of the faculty and, depending on their interest and expertise, are encouraged to contribute to on-going research projects in the DERG. Apart from research, some participation in teaching is also expected.

Successful candidates are expected to hold a superior MA, Diplom or equivalent in economics or a closely related field. Given the empirical focus of the DERG, we are particularly seeking candidates with strengths in econometrics and empirical analysis, as well as with prior exposure to development economics. Since the operating language of the DERG and all research activities is English, candidates should be fluent in English.
