DAAD Scholarships for Postgraduate Courses for Professionals, Germany
From among the large number of postgraduate courses offered by German institutions of higher education, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports a carefully chosen selection of programmes of particular interest to junior executives from developing countries. These degree courses, which consist of one to two years of concentrated study, provide young, academically-trained professionals in leading positions from developing countries with the opportunity to engage in postgraduate education and training in their particular field or profession.

The Heinrich Böll Foundation awards scholarships to German and foreign students in keeping with the guidelines provided by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Federal Foreign Office (AA). The scholarship covers Bachelors, Masters, and PhD studies.

Leiden University offers scholarships to outstanding all nationalities students pursuing a master’s degree programme at Leiden University. The scholarship programme is intended for candidates showing the highest achievements and promise for a master’s degree study starting in February 2011. The maximum study period is 12 months (1-year programme) or 24 months (2-year programme).

Law International LLM Master Scholarships, University of Technology Sydney, Australia
The Faculty of Law offers two scholarships in each academic year for “New International Candidates” in the Master of Laws (LLM) by Coursework.
One scholarship will be awarded in each of Autumn Semester and Spring Semester each year to a new LLM international student.
The scholarship will be by way of reduction of tuition fees for the semester of the award.
Scholarships will be awarded solely on the basis of academic merit*.
Eligibility
Candidates must:
- have applied for admission to the UTS Master of Laws by Coursework (LLM) award, course code C04143;
- be categorised by UTS as an international student (neither an Australian citizen nor a permanent resident of Australia); and
- have reached a level of achievement across all subjects in the undergraduate legal qualification used as a basis for admission to the LLM which is equivalent to an academic achievement of Distinction average (75%) at UTS
Academic Merit. The scholarship will be awarded to the applicant who is the highest achiever.
